Poppe (29), Behrends (11) combine for 40 points for Southwestern United

Once again getting a dominating inside scoring performance from freshman Matthew Poppe, the Southwestern United C-squad boys’ basketball team claimed a 52-45 victory over Mountain Lake Area at Okabena Thursday December 20.
Poppe scored 12 points in the first half and netted 17 more after intermission to finish with a game-high 29 points to lead the Wildcats.
