On 11/15/12 the Jackson County Sheriff's Office responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle on a vacant farm site located in Ewington Township, Section 4.
Deputies located two individuals identified as 35 year old Zachariah Swanson of Currie, MN, and 38 year old Shannon Goembel of Brandon, SD, in a 2007 Ford SUV. While speaking with Swanson & Goembel, deputies discovered a mobile meth lab inside the vehicle. Swanson and Goembel were place into custody, both charged with two felony counts of Aid and Advise Controlled Substance Crime in the First Degree – Manufacture. They both remain in custody under a $100,000 bond.
The Brewster Fire Department and Worthington Ambulance Service were dispatched to the scene while the lab was being dismantled by deputies as a precautionary measure. |
