On Saturday, September 22, the Wildcat MYFL (Midwest Youth Football League) 5th/6th grade team won 30-0 against a Worthington 5th grade team.
A fine defensive performance by the Wildcats kept the Chargers off the board. The defense also added to the scoring with a fumble recovery in the endzone by Preston Anderson, after an Andrew Madsen sack.
Offensively the scoring was led by Madsen's two touchdown runs of 1 and 8 yards. Eli Becker also caught a spectacular 40 yard touchdown pass from Nathaniel Post that bounced off of Anderson's shoulder pads and into Becker's hands who took it the distance.
The 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade teams both have records of 2 and 1, just past mid-season.
