Paced by the lead trio of eighth-graders Logan Knutson, Pablo Bolanos and Mason Ellenbecker, the Southwestern United junior high boys’ cross country team finished an impressive third in the team standings of the 11-team Eagle Invitational at the Windom Golf Course last Monday, September 17.
Three days later, Knutson and Ellenbecker both had very good individual races at Jackson County Central’s 10-team cross country meet held at the Loon Lake Golf Course (Thursday, September 20).
