On August 14th, the Jackson County Sheriff's Office arrested 22 year-old Trevor Henson of Jackson, MN for 1 felony count of fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, 1 gross misdemeanor count of obstructing legal process and 1 count domestic assault. The arrest stems from an incident where Henson's girlfriend called the Jackson County Sheriff's Office stating Henson was throwing things and slamming doors inside the residence. The victim stated that she had been assaulted by Henson in the past and was afraid of being assaulted again. Prior to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office arriving at the residence, Henson had left, traveling in an older red Jeep Cherokee with Oregon plates. Deputies located Henson, activated their emergency lights and sirens, and Henson refused to stop. Henson eventually pulled over complaining to the Deputies that he just wanted to go home. When the deputies arrested Henson, he struggled with the deputies and resisted arrest. Deputies forced Henson to the ground where he was handcuffed and transported to the Jackson County Jail. Earlier that day, Henson was issued a citation for shop lifting after taking a bottle of liquor from the Jackson Municipal Liquor store. He remains in custody under a $3500 bail.
