Cash prizes, a crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, a trip to California, a tour of Hollywood, and two tickets to Disneyland. That's what Claire Rasche, daughter of Steve and Jeanie Rasche, could win at the American Miss Minnesota Pageant where she will be competing as a state finalist on July 27 and 28 at the Double Tree Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota. Claire has been chosen as a State Finalist in the American Miss Pageant, which is for ages 4-18, which is divided into five different age divisions. Claire will be participating in the preteen age division. The Pageant focuses on age appropriate activities; girls under the age of 12 are not allowed to wear makeup, and there is no swimsuit competition. The Pageant program focuses on inner-beauty, as well as poise and presentation. Emphasis is put on the importance of accomplishments of each girl while encouraging her to set goals for the future.
