Town and Country Days is set for this weekend in Jackson. Events have been underway this week, with a medallion hunt, and begin in Thursday afternoon.

Town and Country Days is set for this weekend in Jackson. Events have been underway this week, with a medallion hunt, and begin in Thursday afternoon.
A Dash for Dogs will begin at the north end of main street, with free hot dogs for runners and their families after the race. Registration begins at 4:30. Free hot dogs are also available at various retailers in downtown Jackson.
The Little Mr. and Miss Jackson Pageant starts at 6:00 p.m. at the Historic State Theater.
Crazy sidewalk sales will kick off Friday’s events. Sales begin at 9:00. There will be a free movie at the theater at 10:00, and games for the family begin at the United Prairie Bank parking lot.
Family Night Out, which will include pork burgers, chips and root beer floats for $5, begins at 5:00 p.m.
