| Ethan Becker and Andrew Madsen combined to throw a six-inning no-hitter last Tuesday afternoon (June 12), as the Heron Lake Big Mites opened the season with a 3-0 road victory over Okabena. Becker (four strikeouts) and Madsen (seven strikeouts) each pitched three scoreless innings, and Heron Lake plated a trio of runs in the top of the third to take the lead. Eli Becker reached on an error and scored a run, while Ethan Becker (walk, double) singled and scored. The Becker brothers both scored on a two-run double by Madsen, who later scored on an RBI single off the bat of Jacob Burdick.
