| The Highway 71 bridge, half mile south of Highway 60 junction, will be replaced causing traffic detours. The project is expected to last Monday, July 12 through Friday, October 15. Highway 71 traffic will be detoured to Cottonwood County 17 and Jackson County 30. Twelve-foot width restriction on Highway 71 in both directions from Cottonwood County Road 25 to before Highway 60. Project Information: The existing bridge will be replaced. The new bridge will feature engineering improvements and improved functionality. Duininck, Inc. is the prime contractor for the $1.5 million project.
